About Me
Muhammad Fawad Afridi is thrilled about the opportunity to join the mentorship network of the Policy Innovation Lab developed by UNDP, UNICEF, and UNFPA. With a strong background in entrepreneurship, digital marketing, and career advising, he believes he can share his experience to help guide young leaders in Pakistan.
As the founder of Scholarships Corner, a platform that assists students in finding educational opportunities and scholarships, Fawad has helped thousands of students worldwide by providing free resources, career counseling, and mentorship. He also conducts educational seminars and workshops to inform students about various scholarships and opportunities available to them.
Some of his proudest accomplishments include:
- Speaking at the Istanbul Youth Summit in 2022 and 2023.
- Serving as a Youth Representative and Observer at the World Food Forum, Youth Assembly from 2024 onwards.
- Receiving the Distinguished Alumni Award from the US Embassy in 2017.
- Representing Pakistan at the European Youth Event at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France in 2023.
- Speaking at the International Volunteer Forum in Istanbul in 2022.
- Attending the Youth Summit by the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights.
- Representing Pakistan at the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development and Human Rights Summit at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, US in 2024.
- Receiving an award from the Pakistan US Alumni Network and US Embassy for his achievements with Scholarships Corner.
Through Scholarships Corner, Fawad has organized free seminars and workshops across Pakistan and online, helping students understand how to apply for scholarships. He has also conducted many one-on-one sessions to assist students with their application processes.
Passionate about empowering youth, Fawad believes that his experience can help the next generation of leaders in Pakistan. He is excited about the opportunity to be part of this important initiative and to help young people connect with career opportunities and contribute to meaningful policy changes.
