Over the course of his career spanning more than a decade, Ahsan has worked with esteemed national and international organizations and think tanks on a variety of projects encompassing youth development, inclusive governance, entrepreneurship, countering violent extremism, education inclusivity, climate adaptation and resilience, and good governance.
At the heart of Ahsan’s endeavors lies a steadfast commitment to social accountability and transparency in the government. His contributions extend beyond project implementation to policymaking, where he has actively participated in shaping governance strategies within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. He has served as the Board of Directors member at KP TEVTA, Advisory Council Member at the KP Ministry of Science and Technology, and a member of Youth Development Commission of KP. Ahsan’s advocacy for robust performance monitoring, accountability mechanisms, and transparency protocols has been instrumental in advancing effective governance frameworks. In 2021, Ahsan’s expertise was sought by the Government of Pakistan to serve as a policy consultant. Tasked with spearheading the development of Pakistan’s inaugural pandemic preparedness and response policy, Ahsan crafted a comprehensive document that addressed critical facets of pandemic preparedness and response.
A recognized international trainer, Ahsan has conducted specialized policy masterclasses in over 25 countries. These sessions equip emerging leaders from diverse backgrounds with the skills to influence policy agendas and foster social accountability and inclusive governance within their respective nations.
